Telelift at Ilsan hospital, South Korea
Ilsan hospital has played an important role in providing high quality medical services, developing medical treatments and in research since 2000. The hospital has 741 beds and uses of state-of-the-art medical equipment and facilities.
Since its opening, Ilsan Hospital has relied on a Telelift transportation system to transport medicines, specimen and other medical supplies. The system covers over 1,200 transports per day with 73 trolleys on 1,700 m of track. This corresponds to a transport volume of 1.6 transports per bed.
After more than 20 years of successful operation of the system, it is now being renewed. After the complete modernization, Ilsan Hospital will operate with a state-of-the-art logistics system and will once again be well equipped for many years to come. The project is being carried out by Telelift Korea.
