The optional UV-C disinfection available for the UniMedCar15 provides an extra plus in hygiene. It allows to disinfect the interior of the trolley between transports.

The irradiation of the interior inactivates unwanted germs and bacteria in the shortest possible time. The UV-C lamp used complies with the standards of the International Ultraviolet Association (IUVA) Manufacturers Council.
The optimized positioning and enclosure of the UV-Clamp in the trolley avoids shadows and ensures the disinfection of all surfaces within the trolley. Within five minutes, a disinfection of a broad spectrum of viruses and germs is achieved (e.g. SARS-CoV-2, Escherichia coli and more).

The technology of UV-C-disinfection allows disinfection without the use of chemicals, without toxic compounds and without the formation of resistance.
